Cancellation policy:

Cancellations can be made up to 7 days before scheduled trip. ANY cancellations for ANY reason within 7 days forfeit the deposit.

I cancel for unsafe conditions ONLY. We typically can get light rains and afternoon showers in the summer especially. If there is not lots of wind involved, we usually go. That being said, we would rather go on a nice day too. If we can reschedule you we will, otherwise you will get a refund.

Welcome aboard the 31′ Stamas yacht! Built in Tarpon Springs Florida for the Gulf of Mexico waters! This is a fishing machine. It’s very roomy, and you can expect a smooth ride. Twin Yamaha 250 outboards makes her scoot. Plenty of shade and superb fishibility. Restroom in the cabin for the family’s needs. All safety equipment meets or exceeds USCG standards. Spot lock Rhodan trolling motor mounted on front (not pictured) means more fishing time.

What To Expect On Your Charter

Arriving at the dock, you will be able to park your car within steps from the Snapper Addict II.

Once your personal items are stowed, Captain Layne will go through a short safety debarkation spiel. At this time if you did forget something, there is a Ship Store at the marina. After any questions are answered, the lines are tossed and you’re off. Leaving from the mouth of the Manatee River, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the Sunshine Skyway. At this time, Captain Layne can tell you about the area, point out tourist destinations, or give you time to catch a few z’s if you had too much fun the night before.

4 Hour Trip

This is a great for an experienced angler wanting to get away before their spouse knows they’re gone or for a family who has never fished offshore. This is offered mornings or afternoons, and we go approximately three to seven miles out.

6 Hour Trip

This is my most popular trip. Spending an extra two hours on the water sometimes makes all the difference. This trip only leaves in the mornings, and we go approximately seven to ten miles out.

8 Hour Trip

This is for the angler who really wants to fill the box. This trip only leaves in the mornings, and we generally go 10 to 20 miles offshore where the monsters dwell. Extended trips are available upon request.
